A NewBridge to Cleveland

Mon, 04 Jan 2010

The Cleveland Foundation charged Boondock Walker with the task of naming its Cleveland Center for Arts & Technology, now dubbed NewBridge. Boondock Walker will be developing a brand platform, visual identity and tagline for the venture, which will be opening its doors this Fall. In addition, Boondock Walker will be creating all supporting communications materials, including investor presentations, a website, print collateral, and building signage.

NewBridge is a program created to serve the Cleveland community by establishing a dual vocation and education center in the heart of the city. Its focus is to provide career training for displaced and disadvantaged workers and to use the arts as a means to motivate underserved urban youth to stay in school and pursue higher education. NewBridge is modeled after Pittsburgh's Manchester-Bidwell, a 40-year-old program founded by visionary and MacArthur Fellow, Bill Strickland.

Boondock Walker is proud to have been selected to partner in development of a brand for this unique and innovative program aimed at improving Cleveland.
