Next time you see Brian Willse, be sure to congratulate him. The Boondock Walker partner, co-founder and creative director was accepted into the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. Funded by Goldman Sachs and the Goldman Sachs Foundation, 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by giving small businesses greater access to education, capital and business support services. In short, it’s helping entrepreneurs across the country grow their businesses and create jobs.

Cleveland is the seventh location of the 10,000 Small Businesses initiative in the United States. Cuyahoga Community College will administer the business and management education program for 10,000 Small Businesses in Cleveland, and is also working with local organizations to encourage small businesses to apply for the education and/or capital program components.

Other partners involved in the program include: the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE); JumpStart, Inc.; the Northeast Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and the Urban League of Greater Cleveland. More information here: http://www.goldmansachs.com/citizenship/10000-small-businesses/US/
