On the first Monday in July Boondock Walker co-partners Mark Nead and Brian Willse were spotted at “Connections Matter,” the 2014 Northeast Ohio Entrepreneur Expo held at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Both participated in a new fast-paced, two-hour series of “Speed Advising Sessions” where entrepreneurs had the chance to pitch their companies to, and get advice from, investors, journalists, resource providers and entrepreneurial support organizations. Mark and Brian served as “speed advisors,” speaking one-on-one for eight minutes with representatives from companies who pre-registered and exhibited. (The second cousin of “speed dating.”)
The expo is the largest of its kind in Greater Cleveland. More than 110 young companies exhibited. Here’s more info: http://www.neoexpo.org/speed-advising-sessions/
